Click clack, fill a crack.
The trains go down the line.
Click clack, feel a whack,
Everything’s not fine.
Click clack, farewell to track.
The cars fray like twine.
Click clack, the cameras snap,
The worst they’ll get’s a fine.
Click clack, wrist get smacked
People suffer in kind.
Click clack, rewind it back?
All in due time.

I thought about
what it would be like
to kiss you again
To melt into you
and remember the remnants
of our romance
I find myself biting my lips
til they bleed
The taste of metal in my mouth
is a sour reminder
That I’m making love to ghost
