Marvin Library Dedication

A dedication ceremony for the renovated Marvin Library took place last Monday morning.

“I would like to thank the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation for their generous donation to help us renovate this beautiful space.” said Ray Kimmelblatt of the HVCC Foundation Board.

In attendance were members of the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Board and HVCC Foundation Board, HVCC librarians, professors, and students.

“The library is a vital part of student services here at Hudson Valley, and our goal with these renovations is to be up to date with the best utilization of space and the most innovative technology, said Drew Matonak, College President.

“We are very appreciative to have the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, a long-time, local institution, as a partner in achieving our goals,” he said.

“The college is so appreciative for the Troy Savings Bank Charitable foundation for their support on the renovations to the atrium and, as library director, I am so excited the changes we are able to make to the building to enhance learning spaces for student,” said Brenda Hazard, the library director.
