Upcoming Soprano Performance

World renowned soprano, Dr. Li Zhang, will be visiting Hudson Valley for an operatic performance in the Maureen Stapleton Theater on Feb. 11 at noon.

Over the course of her career, Zhang has performed across the globe and has picked up honors on the way.

She is the chairperson for the Department of Opera and Chorus at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in Chengdu, China.

Among her achievements, she sang as First Soprano in the 2011 New Year’s Concert in China. She was also the featured soprano the Prague New Year Concert for Czech President Václav Klaus and many other government leaders in the country.
