If you happen to be a common Lil Wayne fan, “I Am Not a Human Being II” would be a great pick up to listen to, with some tracks that may appeal even to fans of rock.

“Hello” and “Hot Revolver,” two tracks featuring Dr. Dre, were the rock-inspired songs that were horrible.

He made himself look silly because any one who can hear would be able to tell that the rock beats and his voice do not collaborate well together.

Had he stuck to all rap songs, the album had the potential to be flawless, at least from the perspective of a rap fan.

However, the other 16 tracks made up for those two that did not sound as good.

Lil Wayne is hot on the radio and this album consists of three songs that have been playing on stations dating back a couple of months.

So, while listening to the album, you already have tracks that you would play back before listening to the rest of the album because of the quality of the music and the metaphors Lil Wayne utilizes.

From track one through 18, he leads the imagination to expand so you can visualize what he is saying instead of just hearing it.

Track five, “No Worries,” track 11, “Love Me,” featuring Drake and Future, and track 18, “My Homies Still,” are probably the most popular at this point and, as a result, the album shines.

These three songs are the only ones that have been released to the public prior to the album coming out, so when the album finally does come out you can listen to numerous songs that sound just as good as those three.

Track 3, “Days,” featuring 2 Chainz, was the best song on the album, so much so that I heard it and had to continuously press the repeat button.

Two of the hottest MCs being in the same song at this point in their careers makes for an instant rap classic.

Lil Wayne also has a song with Soulja Boy, which is track 7 “Trigger Finger” and Lil Wayne’s verse in this song is pretty good with a line that appeals to me greatly.

“You tied to the track of my train and thoughts / and controlling my thoughts is like like taming sharks” is the line that stood out because of what I perceived when he rolled out the line as it is relate-able to many.

It’s something that you have to go through to understand and relate to, which is why Lil Wayne is so popular. He speaks the truth and what is on his mind.

It’s as if he takes his fans thoughts and puts them in his own words like he did in this album and all the other albums that he has ever released.

“I Am Not a Human Being II” promises to be one of the best albums of the year and if you give it a listen, you probably will not be let down.
