Emergency vehicles were seen on campus near Lang Technical Building. The student refused medical attention and went home with a relative.

The professor used the classroom phone to call Public Safety. There was an EMT student in the class who was able to assist until help arrived.

Hudson Valley Community College has just below 100 medical incidents each year. Incidents are especially common during midterms and finals when students are feeling excess stress and lacking proper nutrition and hydration.
