Look Man

I’m 18 so please don’t treat me like a child, mother.

I can do things on my own now, mom.

I’m going to college.

College can’t be that hard to do, my sister is doing it, so can I.

Okay fine I’ll say it,

I’m new to Troy, but I’m used to school so it has to be easy.

Yes, college is hard but I can handle it.

I can do it on my own.

It’s my 1st semester.

Hello. Hi.

Meeting new friends in college is fun.

Nobody is normal, everyone is themselves.

I love it.

I can do it, I can have a social life and study.

Wait what? We have homework? The syllabus said next week.

Professors can move up the date? Um okay, well that’s new.

Take home test? No I never had one, but college changed that.

My famous last words were “I can do it.”

I lied, I can’t, I need help.

Will you help me? Can you? Please?

I thought I could do it by myself, but I could use some help.

It’s hard to ask for help after I said I could do it but I need it now.

So will you?

Really?

Yes, thank you so much.

Thank you, I did it, I passed my 2nd semester.

I now need to focus on my 3rd semester.

I finally picked my major.

Instead of individual studies, I’m now a liberal arts major.

I think I can do it.

But please stay and help me, I can only do it with you.

Just saying I am thankful for your help is not enough.

My words are not enough to express how thankful I am.
