After four weeks of the National Football League season, quarterbacks have been all the rave during conversation. From injured veteran quarterbacks to rookie prospects getting a shot on the gridiron, people haven’t stopped talking about this position.

To start, newcomers like Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew have been making their names known very quickly, both having great performances in the past two games.

Daniel Jones seems to be a great surprise so far for Giants fans. Many of these same Giants fans were worried about the future of the team after the pickup of Jones in the 2019 NFL Draft. Although the Giants haven’t played great teams with Daniel Jones at the charge of the attack, he has shown fans and coaches alike that he has great potential to perform in the NFL.

With Gardner Minshew, people can just expect him to rally the Jaguars to late game comebacks. After just a few weeks of playing, Minshew’s name is everywhere and fans just love his intensity.

Seen in multiple videos, Minshew had also hung out with ‘Uncle Rico’ from “Napoleon Dynamite” prior to this past Sunday’s game for the Jags, as he has been compared to look very similar to the actor based off of his popular mustache and attire.

All this attention going to Gardner Minshew has hidden much of the talks of cornerback Jalen Ramsey and his possible departure from the Jacksonville roster.

Along with these names at quarterbacks, other quarterbacks have showed up to play as of Sunday. Teddy Bridgewater filling in for Drew Brees as the New Orleans Saints starter seems to be a great chance for the Saints to stay in contention for playoffs during the time of Brees’ injury.

Along with Brees going down, Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky has also been sidelined with an early-season injury. Another quarterback going down during week four was the starter for the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen.

This season so far has not been great for the healthiness of the quarterback position. With that being said, many other QBs have shown that they have what it takes to keep their teams in good shape at this point of the season. There is beyond a talkable amount of lower-tier quarterbacks that have taken snaps in the NFL this year.

After Week 4, only three teams remain undefeated. The Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers still have yet to receive a tick in the loss column.

The Chiefs and Patriots both had challenging opponents in Week 4 in the Bills and Lions, respectively. Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes struggled relatively, compared to their performances in the first three weeks of the NFL season.

On the other side of the win-loss columns, there are still six teams yet to get a win. There seems to be a variety of issues, from teams like the Cardinals and Jets, who just seem like they’re getting off to a rough start, to teams like the Dolphins, Redskins, Bengals and Broncos, who do not seem like their rosters are ready to start winning games any time soon.

However, this season seems like it is still full of great potential for a majority of the teams in the league.
