Student-body president Jamison Jarosz thrives off of the stress of running Student Senate and his own business.

Jarosz said that he ran for president because he wanted to make a difference on campus. “I [wanted to give] a voice to the student body if they have issues at the campus. I want to be able to fix [the problems,]” Jarosz said.

He said that he is resilient and would stand alone to voice out someone’s issue if he has to, “I take seemingly negative situations and turn them into fuel.”

He wants to also use his time as president to build strong connections with his staff members, peers, and faculty. He also wants to grow his professional network.

As president Jarosz is responsible to interview students who want to join the student senate club and the FSA club. He leads the Student Senate meetings that manage funds for the campus clubs with his executive board Vice- President Ali Cheema, Treasurer and Trustee Brendan Caluneo and Secretary Maeve Uhald.

Jarosz likes to think of the Student Senate as an assembly made up of students who want to make a difference and fix the problems.

In the midst of his busy college schedule and handling responsibilities as a President, Jarosz manages to find time for side hobbies as well. He recently started up his own business that sells home décor. He named his business “Integrity.” The website which soon will be made available for users at www.integrityco.us.

Jarosz likes to keep himself busy and productive. When he isn’t running preforning the responsibilities of being president or studying for his sophomore engineering classes, he uses his free time to build the products for his company.

“I wake up at 6 in the morning and after college I go and manufacture products. I also invest time on myself and go to gym for 2 hours and then by 10:30 p.m., I am pretty much in my bed,” Jaroz said, “I definitely feel at times that there should be more hours in a day to get everything done.”
