Women’s Basketball drowns Lakers in fourth straight win

Hudson Valley women’s basketball drastically outplayed Finger Lakes Community College 85-47 on Saturday, Nov. 23 barely dipping below 20 points-per-period.
Due to a craft fair occupying McDonough, the Vikings played the Lakers at the Siena College Athletic Complex.
Emily Erickson, adolescent education and global studies major, led the first half, scoring 12 of her 28 game points, 9 of which were 3-pointers: making this game her fourth in a streak of three field goals from behind the arc per game.
Anna VanRoy, criminal justice major, and Grace VanRoy, individual studies and nursing major, both scored 10 points, with cyber security student, Nia Gray trailing at 8.
Three of the team’s players also tied for most rebounds, excercise science student, Alexandra Rifenburg, Anna VanRoy and criminal justice student, Kylee Masse.
